Sonie Watson’s passion for libations began at age nine, mixing simple “cocktails” for her mother. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong journey—from bartending to various industry roles, and ultimately to distilling. Her connection with 2BAR Spirits started as a customer; after volunteering, she became a proud part-owner. Sonie is a hands-on creator, whether distilling spirits, crafting 2BAR’s Chocolate Bitters with Seattle’s Spinnaker Chocolate, selecting glassware, or perfecting bourbon cocktails. Above all, she is a people person, believing in the power of food and drink to bring people together. She loves sharing her bourbon knowledge with anyone eager to “geek out” with her. From brand representation to mixology, Sonie embraces all facets of the industry and invites others to celebrate the artistry and camaraderie of the spirits world.
