Topic: Reshaping our Narratives for More Positive Outcomes

Speaker: Dr. Constance “Ahuva Batya” Scharff, Founder of The Institute for Complementary and Indigenous Mental Health Research

The stories we tell ourselves shape our lives. Our brains take in information and create meaning out of that information. This meaning making process is often what keeps us stuck in old patterns or undermines our success. Dr. Scharff will share how our stories create our worldview and our experiences and give key interventions to help us create new stories and thus, more positive outcomes in our lives.

At this month’s luncheon, you will learn:

  • To identify the stories we tell ourselves that limit us.
  • To imagine the life we want (business, personal, etc.).
  • To create new narratives to help us attain that vision.
  • Steps to keep old stories from creeping back into our lives, and to forgive ourselves when they do.
