How to Advertise
Advertising in the WBO Marketplace is open to WBO members in good standing. WBO will review and approve all listings at its sole discretion, to ensure that the WBO Marketplace maintains the quality that WBO members expect from their organization.
What may I advertise?
You may advertise your products or services, seminars or workshops you are offering, special events, news about your company, and more. Advertisements will be posted in four categories: seminars and workshops, promotional events, products and services, and announcements. The WBO office or a designated individual will review all submitted listings and images in reference to WBO’s advertising policy.
What may I put in my advertisement?
Each listing consists of:
- A title of 5-15 words, with a maximum of 100 characters.
- The listing text of about 120-150 words, with a maximum of 800 characters.
- A section “For More Information” of 30-50 words, including contact information, e-mail, and a website link, with a maximum of 300 characters.
- One image may be included at an additional cost. The image must be:
- In a JPG or GIF format.
- 150 pixels wide and a maximum of 200 pixels tall. If your image is of a larger size, we can resize it to meet the dimension requirement.
How do I place an advertisement?
Review the pricing structure, select your advertising period and options and pay online. Submit your listing by noon on Wednesday for posting the following Monday.
When will my listing appear?
New listings and listing updates are published on Monday, or on the first business day of the week if Monday is a holiday. If your listing is submitted by noon on Wednesday, it will appear on the following Monday.
How much does it cost?
Listings may be purchased for 4, 8, 12, or 24 weeks, as specified in the table below. There is also an additional fee for including an image in your listing, and a fee for changing an existing listing.

*Note that all publication periods start on Monday and end on Friday.
May I make a change to my listing after it is posted?
Yes – just pay the change fee of $25 and submit your change by noon on Wednesday for posting the following Monday. You may also add an image for $30. Making changes to your listing does not extend your advertising period. If WBO has made an error in posting, we will correct the error as soon as possible at no charge.
